Attacks of Hayfever

Hay fever attacks often lead to further misery in sinus attacks. To offset the pain of such an attack villagers in southern France prepared a unique milk and onion remedy. Directions: Scald a cup of milk and drop in one tablespoon of grated onion. Drink while still warm to clear the nasal passages as needed.

Even in the clear mountain air of Macedonia, villagers needed remedies for allergy relief at certain times of the year. To control and relieve nasal congestion during these times Macedonians eat a clove of garlic every six hours during the day.
